MOTUL 4100 SYN-NERGY SPEC 10W-40 1L

R 165.00

Description:

MOTUL 4100 SYN-NERGY SPEC 10W-40 1L

Technosynthese® high protection synthetic lubricant. Recommended for most European manufacturers such as MERCEDES, VAG (Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, Seat and Cupra), STELLANTIS (Peugeot, Citroën and DS) and RENAULT.
Specially designed for cars equipped with Petrol and Diesel engines, atmospheric or turbo, indirect or direct injection. Provides increased engine protection and protects against the risk of abnormal combustion caused by LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition).
Suitable for all types of fuels, leaded or unleaded gasoline, Ethanol, LPG, Diesel and biofuels. Compatible with catalytic converters (CAT).

The Technosynthese® reinforced synthetic base of MOTUL 4100 SYN-nergy SPEC 10W-40 limits volatility, provides very high lubricating power which reduces friction and allows it to withstand the high temperatures reached in modern engines in order to perfectly meet many specifications constructor.

RENAULT RN0710 / RN0700
VW 501 01 / 505 00

The ACEA B4 standard provides superior detergent/dispersant power and resistance to the increase in viscosity in the presence of soot produced by direct injection Diesel engines (except injector pumps from the VAG group (VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat and Cupra ): To be recommended in this case MOTUL 8100 X-CLEAN 5W-40).

The API SP standard fully covers the requirements of the API SN standard as well as all previous API standards. API SP lubricants provide improved oxidation resistance, better protection against deposits, better protection against engine fouling, better wear protection and better low temperature performance over the life of the oil. Direct injection turbocharged gasoline engines present a certain risk of sporadic pre-ignition
phenomena in the combustion chambers. This type of abnormal combustion is similar to a sporadic metallic noise and is called LSPI for Low Speed Pre-Ignition. It generates very high pressure peaks in the combustion chamber which can lead to the destruction of the piston and ultimately the engine. The API SP standard now covers this LSPI requirement in order to perfectly protect direct injection turbo gasoline engines.

The MB 229.3 standard is much more demanding than the MB 229.1 standard in terms of resistance to aging (extended drain interval: on-board computer) and requires proof of energy savings: 1.2% gain compared to a 15W lubricant -40 reference. The MB 229.3 specification applies to most MERCEDES Petrol engines and the majority of Diesel engines without DPF (Particulate Filters).

PSA for its B71 2300 standard requires the lubricant to meet the most severe thermal constraints in order to be compatible with certain of its Petrol and Diesel engines without DPF.

The Renault RN0700 specification requires lubricants that meet very severe thermal constraints and are compatible with post-treatment systems. The RN0700 standard applies in particular to all naturally aspirated gasoline engines (except Renault Sport) of the RENAULT group (Renault, Dacia, Samsung). The RN0700 standard also applies to all RENAULT Diesel models equipped with a 1.5 dCi engine without DPF < 100 HP with a drain interval of 20,000 km or 1 year. Before use, always refer to the recommendations in the vehicle maintenance manual.
The Renault RN0710 standard applies to all turbocharged gasoline engines, Renault Sport engines and Diesel engines without FAP from the RENAULT group (Renault, Dacia, Samsung), except RENAULT models equipped with the 1.5L dCi Diesel engine without FAP whose power is less than 100 HP and having a drain interval of 20,000 km or 1 year, which require an RN0700 standard. For 2.2L dCi engines With FAP use only an RN0710 approved product, and not RN0720.
