SABELT HERO SUPERLIGHT TS-10 NOMEX SUIT

Sabelt has developed a full range of products to pass all the strict homologation tests and to offer lighter and better performing products in comparison to previous 8856-2000 collections.
The new homologation standard FIA 8856-2018 is a continuation of the standard's evolution from the previous FIA 8856-2000. The FIA introduced updates to increase fire protection.

The Hero TS-10 Superlight from Sabelt is a professional 3-layer driver's suit that is built for lightness. The outer layer is an extremely light woven flame-resistant material. The fire-retardant inner layer is soft knit for protection with comfort, while a honeycomb middle layer provides extra insulation without bulk. The resulting sandwich weighs just 265g per square meter - nearly 10% lighter than the previous top-of-the-range TS-9.

Knit panels around the shoulders, knees, elbows, and in the small of the back provide freedom of movement and ventilation. Pre-curved sleeves avoid bunching while driving. The collar is a little lower than on most other suits for a less restrictive feel. Even the knit wrist and ankle cuffs have been made lighter.

For maximum lightness, this suit has no waist belt. The design is very simple in order to eliminate as many seams and excess material as possible. The understated stripes are even printed instead of embroidered.
