The AK-1 Kart Body Protector is a high-performance and race-orientated FIA STANDARD 8870-2018 homologated karting body protector. Ergonomically designed and constructed with weight-saving materials to ensure a superb fit. Super easy to wear as well as put on or remove due its clever use of a speed-lace closure system and dual adjustable elastic shoulder straps. The AK-1 Kart Body Protector offers superior protection while being super light and comfortable to wear.

CONSTRUCTION

Rib Protectors:

* Rib protectors are constructed from a carbon fiber thermoset material backed by a
soft touch comfort padding.

* Pre-curved to offer a snug fit without obstructing movement.

Chest Protector:

* Chest protector made from a high performance thermoplastic polymer backed with a thermoformed padding.

* Ergonomically profiled for a superb fit.

Back Protector: 

* Back protector made from a high performance thermoplastic polymer backed with a thermoformed padding.

Designed to minimize the distance between the seat and back. Innovative Speed-Lace
Closure System & Straps.

* Extremely easy to put on due to the speed-lace system.
